What are peptide blends?
A peptide blend is one product that holds two or more peptides. FDA’s 2026 review of BPC-157 calls these “multiple-API” products, meaning they have more than one active ingredient, and it found injectables and nasal sprays that pair BPC-157 with TB-500 or with a fragment of thymosin beta-49.
Online sellers offer blends in vials labeled for research use only414. Clinics and compounders have offered them too. FDA found clinic pages marketing a “regenerative combo” of KPV, BPC-157, TB-500, AOD9604 and follistatin-34412. Its 2024 review of CJC-1295 found it blended with ipamorelin, GHRP-2, GHRP-6, hexarelin, “fragment 176-191” and tesamorelin, and one outsourcing facility, a large compounder registered with FDA, reported making CJC-1295 with ipamorelin in 2019 and 202015.
Blend names are climbing in search: “wolverine stack” and “klow peptide” were among the rising US Google searches related to “bpc 157” in the 12 months to 29 September 202616.
Which blends are sold, and has any been tested?
The contents below are quoted from a regulator’s seizure list or a seller’s page34.
- KLOW: Health Canada’s list of products seized from a Vancouver gym, published on 24 December 2025, includes “Klow 80 MG (BPC 10mg/TB-500 10mg/GHK-Cu 50mg/KPV 10mg)”3. A US-facing seller lists KLOW with the same four peptides14. We found no human study of it8.
- GLOW: the same list includes “Glow 70 MG (BPC 10mg/TB-500 10mg/GHK-Cu 50mg)”, which is KLOW without KPV3. We found no human study of it8. The BPC-157 and GHK-Cu comparison covers whether anyone has tested that pair, which both KLOW and GLOW contain.
- Wolverine stack: a popular name for BPC-157 with TB-500, and one seller’s product page is titled “BPC-157 10mg + TB-500 10mg (Wolverine Stack 20mg)”45. FDA’s reviews found no human study of the pair910.
- CJC & Ipa or FIT Stack: CJC-1295 with ipamorelin, listed under those names by two sellers on 30 September 2026614. We found no published human study of the pair1117.
- Tesamorelin with ipamorelin: FDA’s warning letters of 24 August 2026 name a “Tesamorelin Ipamorelin Blend” and “BIMORELIN”, which one seller’s page described as “combining Tesamorelin (10mg) and Ipamorelin (3mg)”1819. On 7 October 2026, PubMed held only review articles naming both peptides, and ClinicalTrials.gov listed no study of the pair12.
- Sermorelin blends: sermorelin with GHRP-2, GHRP-6 or ipamorelin, sold online and made by compounders2021. We found no controlled trial of these mixes, only a 2017 chart review, with no control group, of 14 men who took sermorelin with GHRP-2 and GHRP-622. The ipamorelin and sermorelin comparison covers sermorelin with ipamorelin.
- CagriSema: Novo Nordisk’s once-weekly injection of cagrilintide with semaglutide, which is not yet approved2324. A 68-week trial in 3,417 adults tested it against each drug alone and against placebo25.
What is the human evidence for each ingredient?
Most peptides in the gray-market blends above have little or no human evidence even on their own7910111226.
- BPC-157: the published studies FDA found gave it to fewer than 100 people, for 2 weeks or less, and the only placebo-controlled trial in patients among them, for a bowel disease, found no clear benefit9.
- TB-500: FDA found no human data by any route and no animal toxicity studies10.
- GHK-Cu: small skin trials had mixed results, and we found no published study that injected it on its own in people82728.
- KPV: FDA found no clinical study and no human exposure data by any route12.
- CJC-1295: published human studies used only its long-lasting “with DAC” form, and we found no published study of fat loss, muscle or healing in people11151729.
- Ipamorelin: its only published patient trial, in 114 adults after bowel surgery, found no clear benefit, and we found no study testing it in people for fat loss, muscle or sleep132630.
- Tesamorelin: approved, as Egrifta, only for excess belly fat in adults with HIV, and its labels say it is not for weight loss3132.
What do studies show about the combinations?
For BPC-157 with TB-500, the closest evidence is two small studies, and neither tested the pair in people93334. In a 2026 study of rats with repaired Achilles tendons, 8 per group, combining the two added no benefit over either peptide alone33. In a 2021 chart review with no control group, 3 of 4 knee-pain patients given BPC-157 with “thymosin-beta-4 (TB4)”, as the paper calls it, reported significant pain relief34. FDA’s review also calls that peptide thymosin beta-4, which FDA says is not the same substance as TB-500910. The BPC-157 and TB-500 comparison sets out both studies.
For CJC-1295 with ipamorelin, sellers claim the two boost growth hormone more together, and FDA’s 2024 review of ipamorelin quotes one website promising a “3-5 fold increase”1315. We found no published human study testing that claim, and a 2026 review describes the practice as “largely driven by anecdotal rationale”1117. There is a second gap: FDA found some of these blends sold with CJC-1295 without DAC, a form it found no study giving to people, and others that did not say which form they held, while every published human result for CJC-1295 comes from the DAC form1529. The CJC-1295 and ipamorelin comparison covers the hormone studies behind the claim and which CJC-1295 is in the blend.
What does a tested combination look like?
CagriSema, which pairs cagrilintide with semaglutide, shows what testing a combination involves. In Novo Nordisk’s REDEFINE 1 trial, 3,417 adults were randomly assigned to the pair, semaglutide alone, cagrilintide alone or placebo for 68 weeks, so the combination could be compared with each of its parts25.
If everyone had stayed on treatment, weight fell 22.7% with the pair, 16.1% with semaglutide alone and 11.8% with cagrilintide alone35. Even so, CagriSema is not yet approved. Novo Nordisk announced on 18 December 2025 that it had filed for FDA approval, and on 30 September 2026 it still called CagriSema investigational, with a decision expected in the fourth quarter of 20262324.
Gray-market sellers promote their own pairings. A December 2024 FDA warning letter quoted one seller’s Facebook post promising “Enhanced Weight Loss” from “Cagrilintide and Semaglutide”36. On 30 September 2026, another seller’s site code hid the names “semacargritre blend” and “cagrilinitide tre” from logged-out visitors37. Cagrilintide with retatrutide has been tested in rats, and none of the 44 cagrilintide studies on ClinicalTrials.gov, checked on 1 October 2026, gives it with retatrutide or tirzepatide3839.
Why are side effects harder to trace in a blend?
FDA has twice said it could not tell which peptide in a combined product caused a reported side effect913. Its 2026 review of BPC-157 describes a 40-year-old woman whose skin and gums darkened after she injected a “research purposes only” BPC-157 and TB-500 product, and the reaction came back when she used it again9. FDA judged the product the likely cause but, “because the product contained two peptides”, could not assess BPC-157’s role9.
FDA’s 2024 review of ipamorelin hit the same limit with a 46-year-old man who reported elbow pain after using a compounded ipamorelin and sermorelin product for 2 months. “Because the compounded product contained two peptides”, FDA could not assess ipamorelin’s role13.
Reports often name several products. As of openFDA’s 30 July 2026 update, 11 of the 12 reports naming ipamorelin in FAERS, FDA’s adverse event database, also named other products40. One, received on 17 April 2026, describes a 19-year-old man hospitalized with a reported heart attack and kidney injury who had used a CJC-1295/ipamorelin product along with tesamorelin, retatrutide and another product40. Another FAERS report, of a lymphoid cancer, listed a “GLOW” blend containing GHK-Cu as a product taken alongside the suspected drugs, hCG and Ozempic41. Such reports are unverified and cannot show which product, if any, caused an event40.
A search of FDA’s food and supplement complaint system, covering 2004 to 10 March 2025, also found two reports about “blended TB-500 and BPC-157”, but neither included a safety assessment10.
Do products match their labels?
Names on labels are not standard. FDA says products sold as BPC-157 or TB-500 come in different salts and even different active molecules under one name, so a patient may get a different substance than the one a doctor ordered910. Loose naming also hampers lab testing, FDA adds, because an analyst cannot tell which substance a reference standard, the pure sample a test is checked against, refers to910.
Labels show the confusion. FDA found a blend sold as “BPC-157 and Thymosin-beta-4 (TB 500)”, and Health Canada seized vials labeled “Thymosin-β4 (TB4 or TB-500)”942. Yet FDA defines TB-500 as a 7-amino-acid fragment of thymosin beta-4, a 43-amino-acid protein, and says the two “are not the same substance”10.
Products sold as these blends’ ingredients often fail independent tests. Finnrick, an independent testing service, failed 92 of its latest 200 BPC-157 samples (May to September 2026), 113 of its latest 200 TB-500 samples (January to September 2026), 43 of its latest 200 GHK-Cu samples (June to September 2026) and 13 of 17 KPV samples (March to September 2026)43444546. Its pass mark is at least 99.5% purity and an amount within 35% of the label, so a fail can mean the wrong substance or simply purity slightly under 99.5%4447. Its results describe the products it tested, not a random sample of the market4347.
Supplier test reports can leave out key checks: a public TB-500 certificate of analysis that FDA examined covered appearance, identity and purity, but not the amount of peptide, impurities, bacterial toxins or clumping10. A 2023 anti-doping lab study of products sold online as TB500 and TB1000 found that their contents did not consistently match their descriptions48. Health Canada warns that unauthorized peptides may contain too much, too little or none of the active ingredient49.
Compounded blends have failed checks too. Of 92 recalled sermorelin products in FDA’s records from 2012 to 2025, the two in its most serious class (Class I) were both sermorelin/GHRP-6 vials, from 2013 and 2016, and bacteria were found in the 2016 product20.
Are peptide blends legal?
US and Canadian regulators say a research-only label does not put a peptide product outside drug law4950. Our legal tracker lists each ingredient’s status.
- US sellers: in warning letters of 24 August 2026, FDA called two online sellers’ tesamorelin and ipamorelin blends unapproved new drugs, citing their websites as evidence that the products were meant for people1819.
- US pharmacies: BPC-157, TB-500, KPV, CJC-1295 and ipamorelin are in no category of FDA’s 503A list for compounding pharmacies, and injectable GHK-Cu has no 503A route either51. In July 2026, FDA’s advisers voted 8-6, with 1 abstention, to recommend adding each of BPC-157, TB-500 and KPV, but the votes are advisory52. As of 7 October 2026, FDA had posted no minutes, and the lists were still dated 14 May 20265153. The same committee voted against CJC-1295 and ipamorelin in 20245455. FDA says biologics cannot be compounded under sections 503A or 503B, and Egrifta, the approved tesamorelin, is regulated as a biologic5657.
- Canada: Health Canada says peptides are generally regulated as prescription drugs, and in an advisory published in December 2025 it listed “Glow” and “Klow” vials among products seized from a Vancouver gym349.
- Australia: the Poisons Standard in force from 1 October 2026 lists BPC-157, TB-500, CJC-1295 and ipamorelin as prescription-only, and possessing them without authority, such as a prescription, is illegal; BPC-157 has been on that list since June 20245859.
- Sport: WADA’s 2026 List bans BPC-157, TB-500, CJC-1295, ipamorelin and tesamorelin at all times60. GHK-Cu and KPV are not named on the 2026 or 2027 Lists, but WADA warns that a peptide it does not name “may still be prohibited”606162. A US triathlete and a Canadian university volleyball player each received 4-year bans in 2025 involving BPC-157 and TB-5006364.

Questions people ask
Do peptide stacks work?
Nobody has shown that they do: we found no published human study of KLOW, GLOW, the Wolverine stack or CJC & Ipa789101117. In a 2026 rat study, BPC-157 with TB-500 did no better than either peptide alone33. By contrast, CagriSema, a combination drug, was compared with each of its parts in a 68-week trial of 3,417 adults25.
Is the Wolverine stack safe?
Its safety in people is unknown, because FDA found no human study of the pair and no human data for TB-500 by any route910. In one report to FDA, a woman’s skin and gums darkened after she injected a BPC-157 and TB-500 product, and FDA could not tell which peptide was responsible9.
Is KLOW peptide safe?
Nobody knows: we found no human study of KLOW, FDA found no human data for two of its peptides, TB-500 and KPV, and we found no published study that injected GHK-Cu on its own in people781012. FDA also warns that injected peptides such as BPC-157, TB-500 and KPV can trigger unwanted immune reactions91012.
Can you take tesamorelin and ipamorelin together?
No published study or registered trial has tested the pair: on 7 October 2026, PubMed held only review articles naming both, and ClinicalTrials.gov listed no trial12. Tesamorelin is approved only for excess belly fat in adults with HIV, and in August 2026 FDA called two sellers’ tesamorelin and ipamorelin blends unapproved new drugs181931.
Are peptide blends legal?
In the US, FDA says research-only labels do not stop peptides from being drugs when they are sold for people, and in August 2026 it called two sellers’ tesamorelin and ipamorelin blends unapproved new drugs181950. Health Canada has seized “Glow” and “Klow” vials, and in Australia possessing BPC-157, TB-500, CJC-1295 or ipamorelin without authority is illegal358.
